Prepare your camera!

  • We will pick you up from your hotel in the historic center of Cusco to take you to the station where you will take The 360° Machu Picchu Train in the direction of the Town of Aguas Calientes , also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo.
  • You will be amazed by the natural beauty of the surroundings and landscapes on the train ride. This will be the best start to your visit!
  • When you arrive at Machu Picchu Pueblo, you will have time to freshen up before starting the ascent.
  • Immediately you will begin the ascent to the Citadel on the Consettur bus. This visit will undoubtedly be one of your most memorable experiences.
  • Once up, you will take a tour of Machu Picchu, learning the history and mysteries of this Sanctuary, which is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
  • With the freshness of the morning weather and the energy that is felt from the impressive landscapes everywhere and you will be able to take incredible photos.
  • Finishing your visit inside the Citadel, you will be able to descend and you will have time to have lunch in Machu Picchu Pueblo. (Not included).

Itinerary

Start

Start: we will pick you up at your hotel in Cuzco and Ollantaytambo (in an approximate range between 5:00 and 6:30 depending on the location of your hotel) to take you to the Ollantaytambo Train Station. Start of the train trip: The departure from the Ollantaytambo Station to Aguas Calientes or Machu Pichu Pueblo will be around 7:20 a.m. on Inca Rail Frequency 61. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and a half aboard The 360° Machu Picchu Train.

City Of Cusco

You will visit the city of Cusco, also known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

San Pedro Market

The visit begins at the iconic San Pedro market, where you will explore the colors, aromas, and traditions of contemporary Cusco.

Hour: 3

Coricancha Temple

You will continue to the Coricancha Temple, an ancient Inca Palace and center of worship to the Sun god, on which the Dominican order built a church that remains standing to this day.

Hour: 4

Sacsayhuamán Fortress

Afterwards, you will go to the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an impressive example of Inca military architecture.

Hour: 5

Inca Architecture Visit

After this tour, you will delve into Inca architecture visiting the archaeological site of Q'enko, to finally be transferred to the Plaza de Armas, where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important Catholic temple in the city. Finally, at 6:00 pm we will take you back to your hotel.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Take your identity document or passport with which you bought the ticket.
  • Arrive half an hour before at the train station.
    Do not take a lot of luggage, only 7kg are allowed on the train.
  • We suggest bringing a small backpack along with your camera, a hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and a bottle of water.
  • In Machu Picchu you will climb many steps, wear suitable walking shoes.
  • After the guided tour in Machu Picchu, enjoy the magical moment, open your arms and recharge your energy.
  • Visit the hot springs.
