Itinerary

  • At 08:00 a.m. we will pick you up from your hotel to start the tour.
  • First, you will head to Moray, located 70 km northwest of Cusco. Here you will visit the huge circular and semicircular agricultural terraces, built into natural holes in a limestone plateau overlooking the beautiful Urubamba valley and used as a botanical laboratory by the Incas.
  • Then, we will start the journey for 8.2 km and around 10:00 a.m. we will arrive at Maras, where the salt mines are located on ancient terraces and lagoons. The Salineras de Maras have more than 2 thousand natural salt wells.
  • Then, at 1:00 p.m. you will have lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Finally, at 3:00 p.m. we will begin the return to your hotel.

Prepare for your activity

  • Recharge the batteries of your camera or cell phone to take the best photos and videos.
  • Travel light, but don’t forget to bring a coat, it will be a bit windy.
